History:
The Rock Creek Alumni Association was founded on
May 7, 1901, for the “encouragement of a social spirit
among the alumni" of Rock Creek School. The first
banquet was held on May 30, 1901, at the Van K. Hotel
immediately after commencement exercises with
forty-seven people present. Officers elected were:
President, E.E. Sluss; Vice President, Mrs. Francis
Covell; Recording Secretary, Miss Nellie Gallup;
Corresponding Secretary, Miss Margaret Covell; and
Treasurer, Miss Eva Latimer.

The Rock
Creek Alumni Association is open to any graduate of Rock
Creek High School, graduates of Jefferson Area High
School who attended Rock Creek School, and ANY persons
who attended Rock Creek School.
The Rock
Creek Alumni Banquet is always held the Saturday before
Memorial Day in the gymnasium of Rock Creek School, Rock
Creek, Ohio. Next Banquet is Saturday, May 24, 2008.
